The official Romanian stage of the global Destination Imagination competition. This season, Romanian teams take on the Technical Challenge and the Fine Arts Challenge in three age divisions — primary, secondary and high school.
Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit organization that inspires and equips young people to imagine and innovate through the creative process. Teams work for months on an open-ended challenge and then present their solution at a tournament — building creativity, critical thinking, teamwork and public speaking along the way.
We are the official representatives of Destination Imagination in Romania, bringing this experience to Romanian students and sending our best teams on the road to Global Finals.

Choose the challenge your team will solve. Both challenges are open to every school level.
In this season’s Technical Challenge, your team will create a sorting system that can get things where they’re supposed to be! You’ll also present a story about a character who arrives in the wrong place. How will you sort the situation out?
In this season’s Fine Arts Challenge, your team will create your own fable featuring non-human characters and an important lesson. You’ll use natural materials to create at least one element of your Presentation. Leave your audience in awe as you design interactive scenery and an animated prop that brings your fable to life! What lessons will your team teach?
The core philosophy of Destination Imagination: every part of the solution must be created entirely by the team members. Parents, teachers and Team Managers guide — they never do the work.
This year, all teams must be purchased from the official website of Destination Imagination (destinationimagination.org).
The deadline for creating teams is 15 November 2026. The DI Romania Finals take place on 30 January 2027.
All teams will undergo an Instant Challenge, regardless of the category they attend.
You will have access to all challenge documents and resources once you purchase your team.
